A. Absolutely! All goods ordered from HotPOS are the genuine article, all in perfect condition and sourced from Australian distributors. We do NOT sell grey imported stock which may invalidate your warranty.

Q. I dont have a credit card, what other payment options do you offer? (Posted: 26th Sept, 2005)
A. You can pay by Direct Deposit, Cheque, Money Order or Bank Cheque. You can obtain a money order by visiting any Australia Post branch, or a bank cheque from your bank. Paying by credit card is very safe, and is the recommended payment method for prompt delivery.

A. The products you order will be packaged to prevent damage, and will arrive in their original manufacturers packaging.

Q. How secure is payment gateway you use? (Posted: 26th Sept, 2005)
A. We use a payment gateway operated by SecurePay, Australia's largest payment gateway providers. Through their secure 128bit payment gateway, your credit card is charged immediately then the full card details are not kept in any database.

There is next to no chance that your credit card information could be intercepted during processing. No individual has ever cracked 128bit SSL encryption - there is a higher chance of somebody looking over your shoulder than your card details being taken using the SecurePay payment gateway!

As with all internet transactions, be sure to look for the Lock symbol at the bottom right hand corner of your browser which guarantees the page (where you enter your credit card details) is secure.

A. Sorry as our products are largely covered by Australian warranties only, we can only ship to Australian addresses. There are no exceptions to this.

A. We provide FREE lifetime Email tech support as a service to our customers for the products purchased through us. We DO NOT support cash registers and POS equipment purchased through other vendors.

Support for your POS equipment is an essential part running a retail business. Although Hotpos provides email support (and phone support when necessary) during business hours, we realise that often, business owners and managers don't have time to fix technical hiccups during opening hours. You have a business to run. So POS equipment maintenance or installation is done on the fly, when spare time arises, which my be later in the evening or early in the morning.

The hotpos help website is a growing database of technical information about POS equipment and cash registers, exclusively for Hotpos customers. On this Website you will find setup guides, manual, templates, how-to instructions and tips and tricks for most of the products we sell. And, the best part is, its available 24/7 for Hotpos customers. This means you no longer have to wait for a return email or call for tech support. You can simply login, find your product and view the technical info. If a solution for your problem hasn't made it into the knowledge base yet, simple email helpdesk@hotpos.com.au for the solution.

How to get access to www.hotposhelp.com.au ?

Simply email helpdesk@hotpos.com.au quoting your business name and order number, ask for access to hotpos help, in the body of your email. We will email you with your own login and password, giving you access.

Please use caution when purchasing complex equipment on the internet. You may find rock bottom prices at some websites, but be wary. Many websites selling cash registers are NOT offering tech support. Even if you choose not to purchase from Hotpos, we highly recommend that you read the website's privacy policy regarding tech support. If they do not offer tech support, we highly recommend that you do not buy at that website.

Q. What is your Refund policy? (Posted: 22nd April, 2010)
A. If we supply you with the incorrect goods. We will replace them for you. If you change your mind once a product is purchased or have ordered the incorrect goods, An RA (return Authority) form must be completed and the goods must be shipped by you, back to our warehouse. a Restocking fee of 15% may apply if the goods and the box they came in are not in "new condition". Software purchases and labour charges including on-site support contracts can not be refunded.
