The Sirius scanner from long established European manufacturer Scantech-ID combines the demand
for table-mounted and handheld scanning. The ergonomic design ensure effortless handling and it’s
good looks will automatically enhance any working environment. With 20 scan lines, a scan rate of
1350 scans per second and the latest generation of barcode reconstruction software, the Sirius guarantees
the best performance in it’s class. One button operates the ‘single-line’ and sleepmode (wake
up) feature. With it’s triple interface (RS232, KBW and USB), a standard integrated EAS antenna and
the easy programming through flash memory, the Sirius is the versatile solution for every Point of Sale
application. The flexible stand allows you to position the scanner in all directions, for maximum ease of
use. The Sirius is currently available in black with the stand included as standard.

An advanced rubber suspension system inside the Sirius protects the scan engine against shocks and
vibrations. The use of two component moulding technology ensures a robust housing with a comfortable
soft grip.
Reading of damaged and out of spec codes
The Sirius scanner can be used as a fixed presentation scanner and, when lifted from it’s
stand, as a handheld scanner. To further improve a flexible workspace the stand can turn
360º and tilt 25º forwards and backwards. The cable determines the interface, so one
scanner model serves all applications.
