Please note, this device has a very specific function. it is used to for serial communicating cash registers to be accessed over a LAN /WAN. The Local IP address of the Device needs to be programmed at our office prior to dispatch. For example, programmed as 192.168.0.9
The Serial to Ethernet converter is a 1 port device server, 10/100 ethernet, RS-232,9 Pin DIN. It allows cash registers to talk to POS software on a computer or another serial device accross a network, rather than a direct serial conntion, that is normally required.
