The Nexa CM-500 Laser Portable Memory scanner is a very easy to use portable memory scanner that is equallty usable as a regular hand held barcode scanner.
While many memory scanners on the market need software to be installed on the PC to operate, the CM 500M simply installs itself as a USB HID, (i.e. driverless install),device. Then when plugged in it operates as a standard scanner would, but when unplugged from the PC any barcodes scanned are stored in it's memory.
When reconnected to the PC simply press the upload button and all stored barcodes are output to the screen. Plugging it back into the PC also recharges the CM 500s Lithium Polymer battery.
A simple and efficient solution for many applications such as asset tracking, stock taking, time in attendance, (via date/time stamp function), and anywhere wherelow cost cordless mobility is a benefit.
