It is shock-tested in 5-foot drops to concrete and gives a very reliable performance. The CD-2862 has error-free, industry standard decoding capability and an ergonomic and lightweight design for ease-of-use. Switching cables and reprogramming easily changes the interface. All models have a flashing LED when in continuous reading mode.
The USB version of this Scanner is "Plug and Play". You don't need to load any drivers, just plug it in, and let your computer do the rest. You are ready to start scanning barcodes into your PC / POS System immediately.
