The Sam4s ER-5200M (the cash register formally known as the Samsung ER5200M), Has all the same features as the ER5200 PLus a Multiline operator display that shows you the name of the product you are selling. I would say this extra feature is essential in fast paced retail environments.
The Samsung ER-5200's are fully equiped electronic cash registers. Higher end, more expensive cash registers have VERY LITTLE over this power house. The ER-5200 comes standard with a full size cash drawer, flat spill-resistant keyboard, 2 extremely reliable thermal printer, and 2 RS232 ports.
FREE SOFTWARE This register comes with a free software programing utility that makes updating your system so easy, that even brand new staff can handle it.
Each RS-232C port can be connected to any of the following: PC, scanner, scale, remote printer, remote pole display, coin changer or a security system.
Optional communications software can be used to upload or download your cash registers sales data directly from a PC, or via a phone modem. Daily transaction details, as well as sales and financial reports can be uploaded to your PC for storage and/or further review.
